Opa!

We got to pretend that we were fun-loving Greeks for a few hours today at the colossal Greek festival in town. It seems this is one of the largest Greek communities in the U.S.; so many people attend this event that there are shuttle buses!

Dear Husband was given free entrance and food tickets at work, so we headed over late this morning. First, we hit the Athenian kids' area, where an incredibly generous man let Boo-Boo play for free; he had the time of his life on the big slide. DH was in nirvana at the gift shop, and we couldn't help but walk away with three icons. (You never can have too many, right?) We enjoyed a home-cooked meal for lunch, during which we got many kind comments on our "cute kids."

It was wonderful to be around people who so naturally and obviously love children. And it was a gift to enjoy a day together as a family. God bless the Greeks! =)
