The official report from the weekend is incredibly favorable. Somehow -- due to the grace of God and your prayers, I think! -- I had an easier time with the boys last weekend than I usually do during the week. Go figure! Isn't it wonderful to be pleasantly surprised by something good, especially when you were anticipating something ... not so good? What an important reminder to turn every day over to the Lord, and fill it with humble prayers for help! =)
Dear Husband also had a lovely time at his retreat. He finally, finally had a true Ignatian experience (working directly with the "Spiritual Exercises," directed prayer, general confession, resolutions, etc.), just as I had hoped for him. Thanks, Uncle Iggy!
