I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!! Did you see the Remnant interveiw with Fr. Echert? His parish council voted to remove the table alter completely from the church.

But could someone please send one of these priests to Cedar Rapids? Please???

Will check out the article when I return from my weekend in Wilmette. It's tough to keep up with the Adkinses' literary output, so we're grateful for tips about what might particularly interest us. Keep up the good work. By the way, are Draganowskis in Cedar Rapids now? When did that happen? And why? We've given thought to retiring in Mount Vernon--a stone's throw from CR--and since the MV Catholic church is...how shall we say it... not particularly to our liking, we'd figured on making the drive into Cedar Rapids, where SURELY there would be greener liturgical pastures. Hmmm....
